As Research Administrator, Francisco serves as the primary pre-award administrative link for faculty within the College of Education, coordinating closely with central university research office. In this role, Francisco manages the full lifecycle of proposal development by interpreting complex sponsor guidelines, establishing timelines, assisting faculty with project scopes and other proposal documentation, building compliant budgets, and conducting compliance reviews. In addition, Francisco assists in processing no-cost extensions, and and other administrative actions. By advising faculty—especially new investigators—on submission systems, internal routing, and institutional policies, Francisco ensures seamless research operations so faculty can focus on advancing impactful scholarship.
