Our Strategic Purpose
The Office of Research and Sponsored Projects (ORSP) serves as the primary engine for research endeavors within the UNLV College of Education. We streamline research portfolio development, provide end-to-end award oversight and fiscal management, ensure regulatory compliance, and reduce administrative burdens so researchers can focus on high-impact scholarly outcomes.
Through active collaboration with university leadership and external funding agencies, ORSP fosters an environment that accelerates innovation, supports researchers, and advances community-embedded initiatives.
ORSP Infrastructure
- Research Development: Tailored research strategies, proposal narrative review, funding identification
- Pre-Award: Comprehensive proposal submission assistance, budget development, sponsor portal assistance.
- Post-Award: Award fiscal monitoring, expense processing, and sponsor reporting.
- CLIO Oversight: Operational and fiscal support for Centers, Labs, Institutes, and Offices.
