In this session, participants will consider how research questions, designs, and methods unfold in real-world settings. Topics for the session may include: (1) translation of classroom learning about research methods to conducting research in the real-world; (2) how to deal with unforeseen obstacles in your research process, such as the onset of COVID-19; (3) thinking about pitfalls and promise of different types of designs in naturalistic settings.
